![]() ![]() This isn't a big thing just adding all that comes to mind. ![]() Whilst the name clone clash works and is very good, I believe it needs to have some reference to 1vs1 for example "Clone clash 1vs1" This allows players to know what the game mode is straight away and may be more inclined to try it. ![]() So having a scale would be beneficial for growth at all ranks. Once there is an MMR system in place whether hidden or as a ranked mode, you can then program the AI to get better or worse for different ranks to reflect a player's skill because you don't want to have a super insane AI for garage league, the same way you don't want a super bad AI for World champions. The AI also need to uppercut on walls way more often and not just only on the bowl, we don't ever want to pass to a player on the floor, the AI should always be rotating up and down walls for passing opportunities. The other 2 dpad buttons could be a "spread out" command and a "Stick together" command to allow for direction super quickly, you can also have more room for more commands if you categorize and then have options for all 4 buttons after pressing 1, for example pressing D-dpad will open up 4more commands then you could press D-dpad again to command an AI to go for a pass or press L-dpad for the AI to go in goal. Remove the emotes for 1vs1 or come up with some way to have commands for the AI, whilst the emotes are nice I believe they can be sacrificed to make this game more way way way better, at least we will have airposes still □Ĭhange those keybinds/Dpad to have small AI commands, 2 buttons can be used to give specific commands to either player 1 or 2 for example, to tell an AI to be around gate 1,2,3,4 depending on what you need and where you want them to rotate, this would allow for a much higher skill ceiling and outplay opportunity whilst also fixing the AI not rotating/ staying in goal problem, you can also try and program the AI to rotate properly but it would be much better if it was down to the skill of the player like a game of chess. So what we can do to improve this and make the game mode more competitive at the same time? Perfect for the casual players at the moment, nowhere near the level for any players inside the top1000, the AI are slow they over or under-rotate leaving gates completely free, they only ever uppercut on the bowl and they dont stay where we need them. So my feedback will be from a competitive aspect to make this game more work for ranked and comp. Now, disclaimer this is coming from the opinion of a player who plays the game at a super competitive level and who has participated in all top EU tournaments and done pretty well in some. Also this mode needs to be in custom games ASAP to allow for events and fun 1vs1 with friends. However, it isn't without its flaws and understanding that the game mode is in beta and a work in progress I want to share my feedback to help the game mode progress into being something big.įirst of all, there needs to be some sort of MMR whether it be a dedicated ranked mode(preferred) or a hidden MMR to allow for even matchmaking, too often good players will come up against way lesser skilled opponents making it unfun for both involved, with this something I will talk in more detail later on, it would be good for the AI level to scale with the players MMR to give them a path and showing the players how they might improve by the way the AI play. ![]() Everyone doubted 1vs1's to be balanced but with a bit of creativity and innovation the RC team has been able to create an awesome mode for both the casual players and competitive players, and it MUST stay, its super healthy for players to have a way of escaping those ball hogs when they solo queue and with 1's then can do just that. So first of all let me just say, clone clash is a wonderful and awesome addition to Roller Champions. ![]()
